Budget Range of Terminal Blocks Available from Hylec-APL
Hylec-APL specialise in the bulk supply of quality electrical and electronic components, and has sourced a new budget range of PCB, Nylon Pillar and Barrier Terminal Blocks that has successfully passed all relevant VDE / UL certifications.
The full range of terminal blocks covers a myriad of different variations while fulfilling today’s requirement for minimum costs; plus market requirements for total confidence in quality and performance. Hylec-APL is stocking the range in the UK, and can even have products re-designed to suit customer specific designs, subject to minimum quantity orders.
Terry Spriggs, Product Marketing Manager for Hylec-APL: “When helping customers to specify components we focus primarily on quality and suitability for the application, but we have to face the reality of the market conditions and the fact that some projects are being driven purely by cost-down conditions. In that scenario, rather than have our customers take the safety risk of ordering quantities of potentially poor quality products from little known suppliers with no recourse should they not match specifications, we decided to introduce our own budget range of PCB mount terminals where the quality and the suitability for purpose are assured.’

The low-cost range of products suits a wide range of applications for PCB Mounted, pluggable, terminal strip and screwless terminal blocks. This diversity makes them ideal for almost any field such as HVAC technology, building automation, measuring, control technology and general installations.
Throughout the range the pitch varies between 2.5mm and 14.5mm with wire ranges between 6 and 30 AWG and up to 16mmØ. The current ratings reach 50A and voltage rating reach 600V. With such a wide range of specifications the terminal blocks are adaptable to most applications.

If the budget range is not suitable for a customer’s specific requirements then special products can be manufactured to any design at a very low development cost.
